Callum McGowan and Mike Dodsworth are internationally renowned storytellers, who will be weaving magical tales in their storytelling hut in the woods. They will also be performing The Story of the Real Halloween in the Performance Tent as the sun sets, at 6pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.

Professional actor and storyteller, Callum’s recent work includes a 6 month National Tour of “Romeo & Juliet” (as Romeo!).  A keen writer and director, his own plays have been performed in Essex and London.  He directed “A Celebration of Shakespeare,” for the Olympic Celebrations and has taught acting and Shakespeare workshops at colleges and drama schools. He is also a writer and film-maker.

Essex-based Mike Dodsworth specialises in physically energetic storytelling with an emphasis on interacting with his audiences and bringing stories to life. He has told folk and fairy tales from near and far to audiences ranging from Primary Schools and BBC broadcasts  to Colchester Football Club, theatres and Barnardo’s.
