LINKS POLICY
The Fairyland Trust is first and foremost deeply committed to conservation and sharing the magic of nature with children and families.
We will therefore only link to groups that actively promote or assist in the conservation of nature.
And we will only link to traders who sell UK hand made or fairly traded goods using sustainable materials wherever possible.
We think the fairies would approve.

Link policy details
We will only link to commercial sites where the products sold use sustainable materials wherever possible (preference will be given to those that maximise use of sustainable materials).
Details of companies willing to donate at least 5% of sales to the Fairyland Trust will be actively promoted to our newsletter list.
To set this up please email info@fairylandtrust.org.
All products sold should be:
Handcrafted in the UK - but please note products that are handcrafted but use cheap imported materials as a major part of the product will be excluded e.g. hand-decorating cheap imported T shirts, use of cheap imported plastic decorations, trims, crystals etc
or
carry a Fair Trade label
or
be produced by a member of the International Fair Trade Association
or
be accredited by the British Association of Fair Traders
or
show provable direct benefit to local producers if handcrafted outside the UK
or
be manufacture using provable sustainable methods and materials.
Books / Art / Music
We are unable at present to cope with reviewing or assessing books, artworks or music sent to us.
In the future we will only consider any work that actively promotes similar aims to ours and is of high quality. We are considering setting up a panel of family judges from our current supporter base to help us judge such work.
Non trading organisations, charities and individuals
We will only link to sites that actively and openly promote nature and its conservation. We will therefore not, for example, link to Fairy sites which make no reference to conservation.
Exceptions to this rule are fairy-related sites that are raising money for other children's charities, but again we would rule out environmentally damaging practices e.g. balloon races, use of cheap plastic toys etc.
