Stonehouse Organic Farm Fairy Fair - June 15 2003

Fairies and Farmers Do Mix - June 2003

Some farming is fairy-friendly - like Stonehouse Organic Farm at Thetford, which was venue for the June 15 Fairy Fair in wonderful weather. Over 1000 visitors mingled with sheep, horses, cattle, pigs and a bewildering array of wild flowers and butterflies and birds from little owl to rhode island reds. "Thanks to all our volunteers and helpers who answered my plea for help" says Sarah Wise, Trust coordinator. "It was the best Fair yet - every workshop went well and thanks to you there was no queueing as we had a proper booking system, and the cafe never ran out of food".
