A 45 minute bookable Workshop, no under 3’s
This workshop also works as a drop in, lasting for 2 1/2 hours
Every family knows it is traditional to put a Fairy at the top of their Christmas tree but have you heard why and when this started ? Or indeed how to make one quite like the original ? Find out in this special midwinter Workshop.
Making Christmas Fairies
What each child and adult will experience
In the 45 minute bookable version, children listen to the story of Megan and her magical sheep Snowflake and their encounter with the real Fairy Queen one Christmas.
In both versions of this workshop, children make a Christmas Fairy using a wooden peg, craft materials and Holly or Ivy leaves.
Each participant learns the authentic British folklore of bringing evergreens indoors at Winter and the significance of Holly and Ivy.
