NORFOLK
Account by Aimee Kirby (Age 12) In
early 2001 I stayed with my Nan and Grandad. When I came home the
next day my Mum and Dad said they had seen a red light, quite small.
They had no idea what it was. They said they would they would take
me out that night to see if it was there. We never went out until
a few weeks later. It was about 10.00 when we first went out. I
saw it, I didn't know what it was. Then the strangest thing
happened, it spelt out my name A.I.M.E.E. From then on I worked
out when it went up and down it meant YES, and when it went side
to side it meant NO. We went out 3 times that night and saw it again.
Sadly, I didn't see it again. I thought it had gone away, but it
hadn't. In the Summer Holidays we went camping. On the first night
it was our friend, Glen Balls' birthday. He didn't come round that
night, but the next night we had a big barbeque and Glen was there.
We had finished eating and were sitting around talking when I saw
it . It came onto the barbeque cover and transformed into the shape
of a fairy, then an eyeball, then HAPPY BIRTHDAY. We worked out
eventually that it said the faeries wish Glen Ball Happy Birthday.
Everybody saw it except Lisa, Lauren, Michael, Jon and Dad. Everybody
started to go and I asked it to come on the van. It did! I went
into my tent to get changed , it came in with me. I asked it questions,
it answered them and then Iasked it, "Can you smile?"
It said , "Yes!" and done this U. I said "Goodnight",
it said "Goodnight" back! Unfortunately, I haven't seen
it since, but I can tell you this was no animal, it was a FAIRY!
OXFORDSHIRE
Account by Robyn Corvus
'When I was a child growing up in the 1950s in a rural part of Oxfordshire
I was able to change my consciousness at will, under the right conditions,
and enter into a different dimension parallel to the one we inhabit.
In this state I could see the fairies. I did this on several occasions
near home and a couple of times on holidays in North Devon. Now
in my mid forties, viewing this as an adult, I realise it must have
been something like a shamanic experience. I haven't done it for
years. I'm not sure if I still can but I know I need to be close
to trees and nature for it to work. Then it was natural and automatic.
I think being an adult changes all that, along with the fact that
I now live in a busy town with a small garden. I do know my experiences
were as real as the here and now and I can still remember the little
people clearly along with the immense and wonderful feeling of peace,
safety and pleasure in that land.
PEEBLESHIRE,
SCOTLAND.
Account by David.
I was living for a summer in a hut I had made on the banks of the
river Esk. It was a bend in the river and very secluded so the first
time I heard merry voices approaching I looked out to see who was
there but no one was apparent. I heard the voices frequently after
that - Happy childish chattering, I could never make out the exact
words and I never saw the source of the sounds but I feel that they
were friendly beings that inhabited the riverside.
